Strut!! Community Arts Celebration

It was an amazing expereince to be part of the group that helped make this event happen in Madison WI. Laura's wonderful energy and fabulous costumes were like a magnet in drawing together a wide range of creatie people at UW Madison and across the Madison Community. A semester long project, this last celebration was only the public showing of months of collaborations and connections!

STRUT! was a community Arts procession organized by Laura Anderson Barbata through her Interdisciplinary Arts Residency. The event took place in downtown Madison on Saturday, May 2, 2015. It united a broad selection of contributors from the University and community-based institutions, organizations, and groups.
